I really like it. Chihiro is motivated to become stronger in both body and soul to be worthy of being Celestia's knight, and Celes actually cares about someone else(in her own way) for the first time, personally and emotionally invested in Chihiro's growth.
This is all just my imagination though, I doubt either of those things would realistically happen.
