"Huh?" She blinks at the sudden question.
You repeat yourself, this time being specific about her divine powers.
"I'm less strong than I was when I was in Heaven, but more than when I first arrived here. I think. But I can replenish my divine energy faster when I'm near the sanctuary you let me have. Other than that?" She shrugs. "I don't know."
"But you'd at least be stronger than an average Savant like me at your full strength." You mused aloud.
"No." Herta said, expression serious. "Even if I had my full powers as a goddess back, you'd still defeat me. Maybe not in a day, but eventually you would." She ended with a confident twinkle in her eye.
"Okay." You're almost startled by how certain she was. Though at the same time you felt like it was true for some reason. "And you don't know if you'll get your powers back soon? I mean, you're already strong with your Lunacy Savantae."
"To answer your first question: I have no idea." She lounges, becoming aloof again. "As for the Lunacy Savantae; I might be strong, but I've been getting tired more often. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm carrying your growing seeds inside of me, Master~"
"And what about Savant powers in general?"
"It's probably because Lunacy Savantae is a mirror of my powers as a goddess, I think? I'm not sure. I honestly don't know how it became such a thing in this world." She gives a hum in thought. "Master, haven't we had these conversations before?"
"Yeah, we have." You confirm. "I just wanted to know if anything changed since you got that sacred sanctuary."
"Other than being able to purge corruption and curses better? No idea. Unless you're talking about what I said earlier with replenishing my divine energy faster."
A few minutes of silence pass. These moments are peaceful, only broken by the occasional burst of steam or the whirring of gears. You occupy your thoughts and actions with building things as Herta rocks back and forth to entertain herself, as she usually does when there's nothing on her mind. As you build a particularly tedious machine, your mind wanders to the subject of your first wife— reclining and taking it easy after being satisfied by your 'rebukes' and 'punishments'.
Eternally masochistic, arrogant, and completely devoted to you: She was always found joy in the work you gave her and never shied away from any physical punishment you dished out to her, only occasionally did she whine if it became too difficult for her to deal with (like when she decided to work the bellows or when a puzzle becomes too hard for her to solve).
"How much do you care about this world, Herta?" You glance at her as you make the sudden question.
"Huh?" She gave you a confused stare. "It's good, I guess. I mean, I'd be pretty miffed if the World Creation Engine messed up something, but everything seems to be going alright even after tens of thousands of years. But other than the corruption and some Guardians going rogue, the world is fine."
