Phainon is being marketed like Aventurine - omnislut (yumebait and fujobait). Aventurine got much of the same kind of marketing when he released.
The difference is that Aventurine works this better because he has the personality for being an omnislut. Phainon does not. His ML is very unearned, and it also only exists so male players don't have melties over his relevance.
