>+ 1000 Leopard 2
>They will be ready by 2029.
Did Merz find the same source of cocaine as Zelensky?

The current rate, as in after boosting production rates to the max, is 50 new tanks per year and 60-70 upgraded from existing inventories.
That's 110-120 per year, out of which Sweden will get 110 by 2029.
That would require 4 years with a production rate that is 175% higher than their peak rate (right now), and ofc starting half a year ago.

So to succeed they would need to invent time travel or by end of year triple their industrial production facilities including training the staff for it.
Neither will happen, because throwing GDP at a problem doesn't magically make things appear faster than laws of physics allow them to.

>I wonder if real reason for that is so that Iran actually drags in the US because the chance of US intervening if there are Chink and Russia tripwire troops are reduced drastically.
>But then all the cuckening does not make sense. I presume Iran is just too proud.
Mercouris made some good points about it.

The current Iran is a fairly young republic who have been backstabbed by everyone they trusted.

Just as a reminder, Iran and Israel were allied in the Iran Iraq war, but then Iran were desperate to get more weapons (fighter jets etc) and they paid billions up front to Israel with oil, and Israel just gave them the finger.
Probably betting that Iran would lose.
Israel still haven't paid for that oil.

Iran used to be friends with the US, and they still fly the F14s and F5/20s

Iran has also had troubles with the USSR expanding influence over traditionally Persian regions (which is why they aligned with the mutts in the first place).

So Iran, for those and many other reasons don't want to become dependent on third parties for their national security.
In the context of Israels unprovoked attack it may seem stupid, but there is at least a logic to it.

>Iran's problem is that they let a bunch of foreigners into their country that were on Jewish payroll and fucked up the strategic radars in the western part of the country.
True, and I would argue that it made financial sense to open up the country with the entry into BRICS etc.
But given that Israel and USA have them in their crosshairs they should have expected infiltration with the foreign workers.

>The reason kikes had to go for Iran right now is because this kind of attack gets a whole lot harder
Yes.
Not only the Su35, but they will have more modern AD systems in general, not to mention offensive missile systems etc.
Time was and is still is playing in Irans favor.
