They might not align themselves with other Asian countries because of all the WW2 shit, but there's absolutely no reason why Japan and Russia have bad relations aside from the simple fact that they're a US vessel

Russia has basically everything that Japan needs and Japan has the tech that Russia needs
It's literally the perfect puzzle piece that fits together and they're basically one short island hop away from each other

The fact that they don't constantly trade fucking bewilders me and really shows how much of a Boot On the Neck America has on Japan
