>piece of shit cygames won't even let me play both servers at the same time because they named the main data folder for both versions the same so the game breaks every time you install the other
People came up with a fix for this. You have to name one of the folders "umamusume" and the other one "Umamusume" and it works. See the below.
>Move everything out of C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\Cygames temporarily. This folder needs to be empty! If you have both versions of the game installed, temporarily rename one version's folder or Windows will attempt to overwrite the files when you move them. (Add a 1 to the end of the folder or something similar.)
>Open a Powershell window type the following: fsutil.exe file setCaseSensitiveInfo {path to your \locallow\Cygames} enable
>If you get an error, you need to run Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName Microsoft-Windows-Subsystem-Linux first and try again. Powershell needs to be run as admin for this command.
>Put all your files back into your Cygames folder. Global uses "Umamusume", JP uses "umamusume".
>Emulators don't work
Yes they do? Use MuMu Player 12. Infinitely easier than fucking with powershell and registry too since it just works.
