I'm not worried about that, i need to double check but i believe the one i have in use now for my shit setup has 6 bays. I would remove all the components and replace them install truenas and then transfer the data if it has as many bays as i think. I was also considering getting something like pic related which would have 13 drive slots which theres no chance would get filled.

So the web gui doesnt require a GPU to run though? If so then thats good, dont mind having a gpu installed just to set up. I dont believe my currently unused mobos have any NVME slots so my plan was to get a PCIE adaptor and use the 64gb NVME that came with my steam deck for the OS
