From the inside of your pocket, you heard Yumi grumble about something before going back to sleep. She'd been sulking ever since the fight with Sumiko. You considered talking to the ghostgirl, but thought against it.

"Ugh, all of this paperwork stuff is boring and complicated." Herta complained despite not doing having to do anything. While Bertha seemed to assent with a nod, you noticed a frown form on Ruby's face. "Master! Can we just go back to the castle? Please~?"

"It's been literally less than half an hour since we've left." You deadpanned.

"I know! It's just, I wanna spend more time with you, Master!" From how her eyes shined, you could tell that this wasn't as innocent as she was making it out to be. You knew she just wanted you to 'punish' her until her thoughts became mush.

"Are you gonna keep complaining? Or are you actually such a maso-bitch that you want to make a scene here and now?" You chastise her.

"Kyaah! Master is correcting me like the useless sow I am~! He's gonna tie me up and force himself on me while pressing his body against my own and he'll pull up my skirt and start span-"

"Anyway," You clear your throat. "We're gonna look around to some of the tourist traps, then we'll get an update on what those pencil pushers are doing."

And so you did.

Though crowded, the Centrian heartland was still nice enough to sight-see. Everything was much fancier than in the other regions of Centria, and you even saw a few witches and wizards flying on brooms and umbrellas as they left the Academy.

You and your wives see many monuments of the apparent founders of Centria; these mostly consisted of intelligentsia, adventurers, knights, and merchants from both Westphalia and Eastia.

Man-made canals where small boats would gently glide over crossed a few avenues, passing beneath bridges and disappearing into tunnels. Small flying islets were chained to the ground and to clock towers, apparently using the same type of ancient technology that allowed your flying tower to levitate.

Herta and the others were able to get some small trinkets and Centrian memorabilia— using what remained of the money you granted to them a few days ago.

There was an abundance of stores and restaurants in the area. Though not as many as the ones near the Merchant's Guild, which was the center of commerce in Centria, there was seemingly no end to the selection of Eastian, Westphalian, Northrensjor, and even Southrine cuisines. Not to mention the types of foods and recipes different species brought with them, even finding some Feligyptian meals which Cattleya seemed to perk up at. Though there were some others that had... interesting tastes.

"I can't believe lamias sell giant bee and roc egg casseroles." Bertha commented after leaving a stall. "Like, who would eat a giant bug?"

"I am certain it's an acquired taste." Said Ruby Rose. "The true question lies in where they might've obtained it."

"They have a place here where they harvest them." Mel said.
