I finally got all of it organized into a single cohesive storyline. I know now the character arcs I want to go through and I know how to make his friends not simply background characters, I got a good ending that calls back to the beginning and a virtue nailed down that appears more than once through the whole story. Thank you 3am stroke of genius.
