Yes. Ultra Beasts is the catch all term for pokemon from a different dimension. They're basically alien pokemon. They enter the main game world via an artificial wormhole created by the bad guys, but some of UB's can create them on their own.

And unlike pokemon from the main world, who are usually chill, ultra bests are pretty much all psychopathic killing machines
