So it's looking like the message of the arc is that although Ida and by extension Harald had good intentions, they were extremely naive and ignorant leftists basically. We can see how Luffy and other Straw Hats vehemently disagrees with the complete pacifistic nature of nu-Elbaf. Dorry and Brogy represents the perfect balance of what Elbaf always should have been. Strong, prideful and masculine warriors, but not evil for the sake of being evil. By the end of the arc Elbaf will realize it needs to abandon and abolish the wokeness that's infested their culture.
