And I wasn't specifically talking about romance, just using that as an example of people giving Owlcat a free pass on their incompetence by blaming the company they're licensing from. Which is bullshit, even if there was an issue from the property they're licensing, that's something Owlcat should've properly communicated and avoided to begin with, you don't start development on your ideas and THEN ask the license holder for permission, you go over your plans and what's acceptable or forbidden to start with, that way you don't waste massive time and effort on rewrites or changes after the fact. So even in the best case scenario for Owlcat, it would still be their own incompetence and mismanagement to blame.

Also Argenta is clearly a major victim of the cuts, her entire questline post Commoragh was obviously meant to be a side dungeon, instead it doesn't even get a book segment. Absolutely abysmal garbage on Owlcats part. It's quite disgusting they've never even patched in a book segment for that, how hard can it be to draw 1-2 pictures and some dialogue? They are incompetent and lazy hacks, is the only conclusion a reasonable man can reach when looking at such failure.
