Playing a game, whether chess or a video game, is not inherently "degenerate." We all need to blow off steam and do something cathartic.
Playing nothing but videogames is antisocial. It's not good. Everyone knows this.

Unfortunately in this world and in this day, it is harder and harder for White men to justify using their time to do good works when every single vector of this society hates you for what you are. White men act like cowards. White women act wickedly. Children act impudently. Ignorance is rife. The government is literally out to get you. Infinity-brownoids are all jockeying for your job if you still have one. Europe and America are literally being flooded from all sides, see "...the end of days shall be like the days of Noah."
Unless there is a White woman at the end of the road as a prize for a White man, he will quickly lose interest in this world ruled by Satan.

Without the possibility of ever getting a White female, a lot of White men have turned from doing positive things with their life and instead became antisocial loners.
Why bother?
I can't entirely blame White men for this, the Jews that control our society have rigged the game, without us even knowing.
Men playing games when there is work to be done is a problem.
Things shall have to get a lot worse before they get better.
