Fulham and Manchester United are exploring a potential Premier League return for midfielder Joao Palhinha, report the Times.

The 29-year-old has struggled to make an impact in his first season at Bayern Munich, following his move from Craven Cottage last summer for £47.4m.

Palhinha played 79 times for Fulham and scored eight goals.
