Good luck anon (also play it with a controller it's way more enjoyable that way since it has the orb system), the first 8 to 9 chapters are just world building and can be a bit of a slog but if you can stomach that the story gets good just like wuwa and it never stops improving.
They're also upgrading the engine a bit with the upcoming update and there is a bigger engine update in CN in a few days that will also come out for us in a few months. (an a lot of the late story is voiced now so there is that)
