It doesn't resolve shit as far as I'm concerned. But like another anon said the scene to scene writing can be a little sloppy. So the EVE Protocol I thought they said was to wipe out all Naytiba and getting rid of the alphas and elder was just a phase in said mission? So even though the elders and alphas are gone, there's still hostile naytiba all over the world that need to be dealt with. Then obviously Mother Sphere needs to be put to the sword which I assume happens in none of the endings. Another anon also said that the true ending is the only one that says "Their journey will continue." that's enough for me to say yeah that'll be the one they more than likely use. I could see them flash forward decades and we play as whatever new species EVE will spawn. But I think since Raven is so popular and it sounds like no more dlc they're just workin on a sequel I think Raven protag or dual protag is super likely.
