honestly they've shown they can't design new regions anymore, wouldn't even mind seeing something new with kanto. maybe a prequel where you play as silver and run away from home? the second half of the game would be johto obviously, but no gym stuff because who cares. ignore how it doesn't work with him stealing his starter at the start of the game, unless he's just gonna physically fight people. he probably would do that though desu
