According to the investigation, a drunk Surov stabbed his daughter 58 times. As is customary in Russia, Surov hardly even spent time in a pre-trial detention center: very quickly, the killer signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense and went to war. Apparently, Surov disappeared or was liquidated in the Kursk region - no one has heard anything about him since January.
