"I didn't really look into it that much, but I'm pretty sure there's more than one Saint or Saintess in the world because of what happened to the first one— just in case one of a Saintess dies or gets captured the remaining ones can take her place. I'm pretty sure there's more than one Saintess alive, at least."
"You're 'pretty sure'? Didn't you just say there were more than one?" You deadpanned.
"How do you expect me to know for sure?" Herta said. You felt like that was just her excuse to be lazy.
After ordering Herta to stop being a lazy dumbass and look into the lore of the world again, you went to check up on Aila. You found the elf girl writing something in what looked like a stereotypical diary.
"Aila," You knocked on the wall. "You alright?"
"Eep!" She jumped again and slammed the book shut, a blush painted on her face once more. "Yes!"
"Sorry about-" You began.
"I'm sorry about-" Aila said in unison.
The two of you blinked, a few chuckles followed.
"Right," You took the lead. "Sorry about Herta, she can be a little bit enthusiastic."
"And I'm sorry about leaving so abruptly." Aila said. "I'm not used to lewd things since I'm still a vir- did you just say your first wife is named Herta? As in, after the Goddess of Creation?"
"Yeah." You said.
"Did you... was she renamed after becoming your slave-wife?"
"Nope. She came that way when I made her mine, masochism and all."
"Hm." Aila was thoughtful for a moment. "She must be from a religious family, especially since there's many divine blessings. Her holy magic is very obvious to those that can sense even basic mana."
At this rate it was only a matter of time before she realized that it was actually the Goddess of Artifice who was your first wife.
Anyway, the two of you go back to the living room to reunite with Herta, and the goddess goes from staring into an empty wall (obeying you as usual) to speaking with you after you harass her.
