The only "writing" people like about Capitano is headcanon cope and always was. What were people expecting from the "villain of the week" trope?
The Jobingers have always had weak fucking writing.
They either stick around long enough to lose all their intrigue (Cheld), get retconned in-universe (Scara), or mindlessly aura farm in the background (Arle and Dott) to appeal to edgy 12 year-olds.
For what its worth, Capitano's writing is the strongest among them simply because the bar is already so low.
But the problem is that harbingertards don't want to perceive him as the objective retard and budget Dainsleif that he was.
