There were. But after Veneto's event there was a wave of CCP hyper vigilance on AL and some other gachas. I vaguely recall part of it was motivated by toxic arknights fans reporting AL to the CCP.
This was the year when they came up with the bunnysuit theme as a workaround of sorts since the skintight spandex technically covered the skin while still showing the body.

CN in particular also got hit with a bunch of censorship:
