I hate part 3 so much. I don't think anybody hates it as much as I do. I don't understand how it's so popular, it is, without a doubt, the worst part in Jojo's and it's not even close. It is SO bad it's truly unbelievable, it's like scooby doo villain of the week nonsense, and half the battles are only even initiated because the main cast suddenly goes absolutely brain dead to give the villain an opening to attack them. Watching Jotaro just walk away while Polnareff starts fucking shouting at Alessi, who has been following them the whole episode without so much as even turning around actually left me speechless. They were fucking walking side by side at the time, on full alert for another stand user, and Jotaro just walks off and doesn't notice his buddy stopped walking with him to confront their pursuer. What in the actual fuck? Star Finger was the most obvious ass pull ability one off ability that I knew the moment I saw it that it was never going to be implemented again because it was so fucking stupid. Jotaro's whole personality just randomly changes like 1/3rd of the way into the story because I guess Araki realized he can't have his protagonist be a bigger shit bag than most of his villains. I truly, genuinely cannot believe anybody likes part 3 at all. It's so fucking bad, I can never get over it. It's the absolute opposite of braincrack, it's like putting your brain ON crack. Holy shit, I hate part 3.
