Never understood the association normalfags and newfags have between inceledom and Christianity for some reason. I've seen some anons on other boards embrace Christianity or Catholicism, not because they're genuine believers, but more as a political strategy to get what they want.
You see it here too. I'm pretty sure a "repent" thread has been posted here daily for the last four years, especially after COVID. Maybe it's my autism, but I feel like trying something that already failed, something my grandparents lived through and that ultimately brought us to where we are now, just feels pointless. We could maybe consider something new.
I know, they think if we went back we will get what people back then got, from a loving virgin wife, family, big home etc, but I see that we will just end up in the same place few years later or maybe just one generation after.
Also, it doesn't sit right with me to see someone convert and claim to be something for the wrong reasons. Well, maybe it's just the appeal of the European aesthetic. Though I'll be honest, I'd be more on board with a paganism redo or a modern revival of Greek mythology, that would be interesting to see.
