I work with a lot of them they comprise like 40-50% of the programming team I work with.
Very nice people, very conservative hate democrats and like owning things. The guy who I work with spent ~10 years in a tobacco field in order to even attend school to learn programming in cuba and I swear he works like if he fucks up they'll send him back to the fields.

On the other hand the cuban-americans that have lived here since birth drank the kool-aid and hate america. it's quite interesting to see it in person.
