It sounds like you've been more experimentative than me! My array kind of goes from "polished but rigid" to "unpolished but more potentially dynamic"

walnut milk -- especially nice for darker linework, but insists upon itself a lot stylewise
wainsfw -- similar to walnut but less high-contrast
N40 -- well balanced
ntrmix -- wacky and messy but sometimes kino, works with intentionally messy styles like Amano or monmon
