Israel lost a bunch of attack and surveillance drones in the 12 Day War, both over Iranian skies and also on the runways at IDF bases.
And Smotrich is refusing to replace a lot of those 10-15 million dollar fancy attack drones [Predator, Reaper type knock-offs].

So Israel is using a lot of cheap DJI/Autel surveillance drones over Gaza, and Hamas is jamming them and making them auto-land a lot.

Not a big deal financially, but Israel's surveillance capabilities over Gaza are compromised significantly.
