Alright this time for my attetion whoring would be topic of camouflaging of anything in SMO.
Fist of all i must reject someones insinuations but multicam - great pattern for demiseason/unsnowy winter.
Basically you choose camo SUDDENLY for your suroundings. So white camo net in the summer bushesh would be kinda sussy.
But camo it's not only about being unnoticible in terms of calours it simply about being unnoticible compare to surroundings. So anything that blurs your/thing you camofluaging silhouette - also great thing.
If enemy think that your 13m SPG is a fucking abondoned trench it's good.
For chosing proper position for camomaxxing you must to find forest with dense crowns(ideally pine or other coniferous forests because they are dense and green all the time). Bald spot not allowed
Regular trees get you more dense leaves protection on summer but at winter they nearly the same as open fields
You need at least 2 camo-net to hide some stuff. 1st net contact with object and slightly blurs silhouette and "change" color, 2nd net spread on some distance(at least 1 meter but better 1.5-2 meters) and completelly(in theory) blurs it.
Important note: camo-nets made of single sheet(low-left on picrel) can be used only in 1st case because they primal purpose change color and remove some potential gloss.
If initial camofluaging ends and our thing not moving then we can use some sticks/grass ad other thing to even blur camo-net that already blur something.
Also important note: not use massively surroindings in 15m radius because it's higly noticable that this are of forest didn't have anything but that exatly poin huge cluster of wood.
In best case scenario when you (artillery)didn't work at night and don't emmit much IR(like in summer) that should be enough because drone operators don't have a clue in what exactly treeline/forest you stay and they suffer from some stress like low battery/fuel to more detailed recon
