HSR doesnt (yet?) have anything like this. Red boxes and every individual trait on the bottom can modify how buffs/debuffs, damage, etc can work all individually and multiplicatively or additively

All of those factors means there's a lot of ways to make really niche setups work better and is fun

I don't find speed tuning interesting. Then again, I don't really like FFX and I thought Quick Hit was busted because it abused the system too much and was too cheap
