I recommend playing it. It's a really well crafted short campaign. Better crafted than the main game in fact, since you are restricted to a certain selection of units and have only limited resources to distribute, so the devs were able to build the campaign around those limitations. The maps are more gimmicky, but I mean that as a compliment. They're very varied in terms of layout and objectives. And the story is alright despite the ashen wolves being wacky delinquents.
