>humanoid dinosaurs
The closest thing to humanoid fighters Primal Rage had were the giant apes Blizzard and Chaos, and they played more like King Kong with their move-sets.
I didn't mind their inclusion. The whole game felt like a loving homage to the stop-motion monsters of 50's and 60's movies, which also had apes and dinosaur beasts fighting one another.
I just pray that if the franchise gets a revival that they actually flesh out the gameplay to take advantage of all the fighters being large monsters instead of hyper-fast, human sized fighters. There's some interesting mechanics that better reflects the scale and carnage of two massive dino-gods fighting.
