It is an ironic when people try to use DMC as an example of good or complex combat, a series where almost every attack has no actual risk behind it, where you can cancel into some form of dodge or (invincible btw) jump at pretty much all times, where 90% of enemies simply get stunlocked to death because they have absolutely no way to exit hitstun, where the only complex combos people post are them just larping they're complex or needed when you can literally just mash the basic 3 hit sword combo and jump every launchable enemy to death with no issue at all, where every attack has a like second long buffer time and nothing at all requires any real dexterity outside of Exceed.
Especially when they post 5, where air jumps were made braindead easy, Dante has multiple ways to quickly stun enemies on demand and then hit them with royal impact for free to instantly get to SS or SSS, Nero can slow-time grapple showdown every vaguely threatening enemy to death and the only cost is tedious menuing (in the game they claimed removed useable items to cut down on menuing) and Vergil can do literally anything because he's retardedly broken
