Traditionally, the "Opening Poster" (OP), who creates a new thread, specifies the intended content and in this case he has "namefagged" himself as:

That's OP's own choice, though most users are likely to have put the main Subject / Title in the
> "Subject field"
provided, by 4chan, whenever a User starts a new thread.
Further guidance can be given in the

despite the fact that (You) evidently don't know what to do, on account of not having the sense you were born with.

the /sm/ is a throwback to the early days of 4chan, back in 2004, nearly 21 years ago:
when the Founder / Owner / original Admin created a (short lived) new board called

Opening Posters often create /ss/ = straight shota threads and the images tend to show anime shota x adult female, as well as anime shota x loli images along with relevant discussion topics. There is no reason why you shouldn't start threads that suit your own tastes.
