The airship with the intricate designs from yesterday approached this graveyard, and made anchor a respectful distance away. Aneko's empty casket was being carefully taken out and carried.

All of Aneko's most prized belongings were placed in it the casket, with some people even gifting her small snacks or dresses.

Just like yesterday, words about the deceased were shared, but this time only Aneko's immediate family spoke. This amounted to Ai and Eisho talking some more by themselves.

A small salt throwing ceremony was enacted, using the salt that was gifted to all of you yesterday. While Bertha used most of it to cook things, it was thankfully replaced by courtesy of Hisashi himself.

Ayane threw small pinches of salt behind your shoulders before entering and exiting any home or inn, and you were asked to do so as well before returning to your home.

It came about that you were able to share a few words with some of the business connections you'd met yesterday. You also met your in-laws again, though this time you got the opportunity to speak with the Yasudas. Youta and Kazuhiro, like Eisho, seemed to be subtly asking if you wanted to attend the Mitsubishi-Yasuda company meeting, though they seemed to dance around the subject whenever you openly brought it up. Once more you gave a strong "maybe" as a response, which thankfully was enough to placate their questions.

You also met with Ryko and Shizuku again. The two of kits seemed better behaved than before, though they were still happy to see you and Ayane. Eisho, Ai, Kasato, and Risae also personally greeted you, with the latter being noticeably more comfortable speaking with you, Mel, and Ruby.

Hisashi also approached to you.

"Small world, isn't it?" He smiled at you.

"Sure is." You said. "Hey, you know, Hisashi-"

"Please, call me father."

"Right. So... father... did Sumiko like flowers?" You got right to the point since neither you nor Ayane knew about you late mother in-law's hobbies.

"She adored them. Put them everywhere she went." He smiled again, this time more fondly.

"If someone had told me that before this all happened..." You muttered.

"Hmm? Sorry, didn't catch that." Hisashi said.

"Don't worry about it." You returned his smile.

You considered talking more with either the kitsune families or with potential business partners...
