it's not that bad, dump 30k on Creek and you'll have at least a decent chunk of carats by time Brian ends. I know the dates in pic rel aren't fully accurate but you'll still have all the leftover Golshi carats and all the carats you can gather from the events in picrel to spend there. You only need 1 of an uma, decent odds.
