Nigger I've played the fucking games. Look at the map during an intermission and it is a straight fucking line 9/10 times. There are hundreds of intermissions and they're meant to act as glue between the actual courses. They can only do so much zigging and zagging when the ultimate goal is to get from point A to point B and real estate is limited.
