/tv/ bros, I am so dissapointed with this new James Gunn Superman film. What is this nonsense? They made Superman into some woke zoomer. Story is all over the place, no logic only, just flashy CGI and forced diversity. Why they not respect the classic Superman? Christopher Reeve is rolling in his grave. Gunn is thinking he can do anything after Guardians, but this is not Marvel, this is DC! Even dialogues are feeling like they written by AI bot, no heart at all. Only good thing is music, but that also not saving this mess. Anyone else feeling this film is total bakwas or it is just me? Pls discuss.

What did they do to the Man of Steel? Superman is supposed to be invulnerable, the ultimate symbol of unstoppable power, like Zack Snyder’s perfect take in Man of Steel where he didn’t get a single scratch. But in this piece of shit, they literally start with Superman getting defeated. Are you kidding me? The guy who’s supposed to be the strongest hero in the universe is getting tossed around like a ragdoll from the opening scene.
And it gets worse. There are moments - multiple- where he’s struggling to beat his enemies. Superman doesn’t struggle. He’s supposed to walk through villains like they’re tissue paper, not limp away looking like he barely survived a bar fight. This isn’t the Superman we deserve. Snyder’s Superman was a god among men, shrugging off explosions, punches, and Kryptonian tech without a flinch. That’s the icon we need, not this weak, watered-down version Gunn’s pushing on us.
