i work at a major chain grocery store zoning aisles which pretty much just translates to fixing and picking up after customers. i can confidently say since i started working there two months ago, it's made me a far worse person in terms of the way i see other people (which says a lot since i already saw most of the people around me as soulless husks). some of the shit these people do just genuinely baffle me in terms of stupidity and i'll find myself during shifts thinking of the customers as animals because the shear thought of any of those people having a human consciousness genuinely enrages me.
