Self-proclaimed open-source intelligence analysts posted updates all weekend of Chinese cargo planes mysteriously seen in Iran, even though the country’s airspace is closed due to the war with Israel.
Three planes departed from China, flew westward along northern China, crossing into Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, before disappearing from radar near Iran.
As the conflict intensified, The Telegraph reported that China sent several cargo planes to Iran. The article cited Flightradar24 data, which showed a cargo plane departing from China for Iran the day after Israel attacked Tehran. As per the report, two more planes left China in the following days as the violence escalated.
