This is absolutely why comics need to restructure themselves towards publishing only original works.

How many comics have been ruined purely because of some internal drama between creators?
Where one creator will purposefully ruin the legacy of another creator they dislike, purely out of spite, and all at the expense of the comic.

This can never happen if the only person allowed to work on a comic is the original creator.
