Yeah, I can't say I got a single good match in TB. Did manage to test the combo I had in mind twice at least, but only twice over the course of an entire evening is pretty bad. At least 80% of my matches had my team at a disadvantage too, it was awful. And if we were at a disadvantage the rest of my team was just dogpiling the other team and making it impossible to get decent fights. Genuinely disgusting mode, especially with all the cheaters. As for LNS, it definitely needs some work. Turning off ninjutsu would probably vastly improve it, but then they need countermeasures in place to prevent interruptions like melee erasing projectiles. Feels like most of the modes have the same issues, honestly. It's just that modes which are otherwise good tend to suffer from 1 or 2 stupid design decisions that drag things down. Like even if you got rid of ninjutsu in LNS, there are plenty of other instant win buttons that ruin fights there when it comes down to two people. There are too many things which need fixing to count these days
