It's because conservatives are domesticated cattle. Sure, they will bray, screech, and whine about every little stupid thing, and constantly threaten to "do something" about it, but at the end of the day, they obey and support the judeo-capitalist system no matter how much it screws them over. Deep down, conservatives know this about themselves, so when in a blue moon one of them actually does "do something", they are all surprised and go into complete shock that a domesticated subhuman animal just like themself might commit some kind of violence against their precious master. They deny it and insist that a leftist must have done it to "make them look bad", not just because a conservative "doing something" is so incomprehensible to them, but also because it makes them realize just how pathetic and feckless they all really are.
