Even if technology ever came close to being a realistic alternative to a real woman, if it became the choice of even 1% of a single future generation of men, it would be shut down by every government on the planet.
Every woman on the planet plus most married men and a good part of the remainder, so likely at least 80% of humanity at the minimum would work to make it illegal.

This theoretical artificial woman only benefits the absolute lowest social caste - single men, who for whatever reason are unwilling or unable to find and support a flesh and blood partner.
99% of women would oppose it by default because it invalidates their very existence
Married and generally most normie men would vehemently oppose it because it would devalue their own sexual and social achievements and potentially elevate men who are supposed to be beneath them.

No government, democratic, authoritarian, theocratic or anarchist would permit this tech because it makes no sense to. It would be the easiest thing ever to demonize and ban. It would be more taboo than bestiality, necrophilia and rape and probably on a similar level as pedophilia.
