The fact you're even thinking of it is evidence of our advancement beyond the basic laws of nature.
We're still a part of nature and always will be in this material plane, but we're clearly going beyond the usual dog-eat-dog cycle of life. And the fact our material brains are allowing this, means it's a part of nature. I think it was always working towards this. The physical bodies of all creatures don't actually like stress and boredom.
We have our instincts. They're important and will never be snuffed. But what else can we do?
