The dumb fucks in the replies for this thread are just like "ohh but all the usage and uptake that little ol me sees is just companies following the money and catching fees, none of the companies spending time and money developing their crypto offerings ~really~ wants to be exposed to crypto"
It's funny because while that's sort of true, the valuable use cases of crypto aren't in the offering oneself as a middleman for retail interest, the dumb fucks on the sub (and here, the link haters) don't understand that banks around the world are trying to tokenize fucking every asset but it's happening at a level they wouldn't be exposed to unless they bothered to look
Banke, whether they realize it yet or not, will want to put all of their shit on some chain for the various benefits that entails (near instant settlement, counterparty risk reduction, etc)
Just like Sergey said they would.
