In hindsight, lack of skirmish mode aside, I think SOTH is better than Mark of Chaos. The single player campaign is hard but there is a better feel of your units being persistent as well as needing to use tactics and strategy to win.

MoC bar the latter parts of some areas of the campaign, can be won quite comfortably. Also just love the Grudgebringers.
