Delver of Secret seems to be doing fine as a big insectoid fella.
Anyway, lemme think of Kards parallel:
>get buffed when you cast spells
>do some effect when you cast spells
Kards have units that do 1 of these 2 things when you play orders/spells that do certain things. As an example, one of the meta decks, currently, is Jintel, the main game plan of which revolves around flooding the board with a Polish token unit called Legion that can then be mass buffed whenever you play any card that lets you see random cards on the opponent's hand.
>buff your other spells when you cast spells
I can think of a few orders that do this. Imperial Decree (Japan spell) makes the next order deal more damage. Wave After Wave (British spell) deals double AOE damage when it is the 2nd played spell of the turn, which somewhat fits your description.
>delver gameplan
Kards have a couple similar examples, tho more straightforward. Britain has 2 sort of meme decks where the entire game plan revolves around buffing either a guy named Buffs or a tank named Humber to cloud nine. While both decks are more than capable of ending the game in 4-5 turns, they are completely dead set on buffing those key units and nothing else, making them extremely vulnerable to a single Remove card (Remove a unit from the board. In most case, the removed unit can come back in its base copy shape) or a single Suppress card (resets buffed stat(s) and completely removes the effects and keywords that card has), or a Convert card (Convert is a newly added mechanic, and Germany has cards that turn units into a borderline useless 1/1 token)
>So you put your guys and keep them alive with your spells while rushing the enemy.
Ye that's pretty much how Buffs and Humber decks work. Funny, memey decks that nevertheless can still make some players quite upset and demand a nerf.
