I've noticed a recurring pattern of Engage fans liking narratives that revolve around a single individual bringing the fanbase to its knees and destroying the series reputation (ie Nowischizo, Felixschizo, Anti-Engageschizo) despite how retarded this sounds and how it doesn't make sense at all when other communities experienced the same thing

I think the reason is is that the fact that the series has took a huge hit in fan goodwill and popularity is undeniable but since they're fans of Engage they can't admit that it was Engage that did this even though every metric we have points to it being the case (especially the new 2024 sales data)

So instead they need to create narratives where it's a single dastardly individual online that soured everybody on Engage because to claim anything else it requires an acknowledgement of the fact the game is broadly unpopular and was a huge misstep for the series
