Adding to this, how rare is it we see NORMAL SABER in FGO? Let's think of how many years into FGO, though she was playable from the start, did it take for her to get anything? First chapter with Saber Alter as the boss, Christmas Saber Alter, Lion King who's a version of Lancer, Mystery Heroine X who's not the original version, etc. Regular Saber Artoria is scant next to all the variants but she's the most common version across Fate so it's okay because we easily see her everywhere else.
Speaking of Camelot, Gawain, Mordred, and many others don't get much character development but they're big obstacles with character moments. But we've seen them in past Fate media so it's okay. FGO's characters rides on the rest of the franchise.
