Are the scenarios your character is involved in a persistent world/story, so they're expected to be somewhat consistent? If not, there's no REAL problem with your writing changing with your mood, except that you are aware of it.
Two, do you LIKE the character you're attempting to play? If you were writing multiple characters at once, having one you don't like to write is fine because you can bounce off the others, but if you don't like the character you're supposed to BE, then you'll have that disconnect that will never let you get into their headspace correctly.
Are these scenarios text heavy, or are they set in-world where you can emote, walk around the space, sit, create pauses on purpose and the like?
