Ride down to the store on your bike with your mates, just leave it out the front without worrying about anyone stealing it, pick out some fighting game or whatever for console that everyone can play, if it looked violent the cunt behind the counter would ring your parents to make sure it was ok because he was a cunt, maybe grab a PC game to burn for everyone at school for the weekend LAN, pick up a trojan or two from gamecopyworld trying to crack it, head back home with half a dozen mates in tow, take turns being shit at whatever you hired but having a good time, spring the plan for a sleep over on your parents at like 6pm like they hadn't already planned it and rang your mates parents.

It was just a bit of a social hub before everyone was connected 24/7 and ceased socialising.
